So I did a little reading about our recent gas price increase. It seems that OPEC has once again slashed production (did it on Feb 10) and that has led to higher prices all the way down the line. Tell me, ELF, which seat does Dubya occupy at the OPEC board table? Do they consult him before they raise and lower the price? Do they ask "Texas fat-cat oilmen" if it's OK to cut production? Face it, sometimes the price of gasoline is affected by things that we Americans have little or no control over. I'm sure a Democratic president would have stopped OPEC from doing such a mean and nasty thing.

The problem I have with your argument (actually most of your arguments) is that you always present a problem and then automatically blame it on Bush with or without evidence. It's not always the government's fault.

Oh, and we Texans (even though I'm just a transplant) aren't mad that you called our state TexASS. We just pity you for living in such a wimpy state. Unless you're from Alaska, then we pity you for having to live in all that snow.
