Bin Laden hates us because, partly, we left him hangin' after Afghanistan, but also because he got the shaft in Saudi Arabia and we're best buds with them. Please don't read any of that as support for him and my "hatred of my own United States", BTW.

Rhetoric unfortunately is common and prevalent because it drives people. Why think when someone else fills you in, regardless of that information's viability? It's true in every country, including this one. Plus, rhetoric mixes "fact" with emotion, ergo it presents itself as being doubly-important because it *SEEMS* right and plausible, and it *FEELS* right. With this equation, people thus end up with the result, which is "empowerment", sometimes a false result because the rhetoric is not reality.
